I shutted down the computer yesterday, today when I started it it will run till the windows boot screen, when the bar reaches the end the screen will stay black and I wanted to boot in safe mode with command prompt and go back to an earlier date.I can get into the setup utility and there can see that the boot sequence If you do use the manufacturer's own System Restore CDs, they normally give you a clear screen message that that is what will happen.
