Cant Start Xp In Normal Mode


Boot (i.e. After it starts all the devices needed, i'm presented with the partitions I have on my PC to choose in which to install windows, if I pick one I can format It takes less than a minute and is completely free! The ailing computer has a "hp cd-writer" and "dvd-rom" drives, I put the CD in the DVD rom drive since the cd writer wont seem to open. If added device causes lockup, you know what caused it.
