No Internet After SP2
If it is integrated in the motherboard then, like your ethernet, it cannot be directly replaced. PS: this does not disable the above mentioned items, only the the red crossed shield and baloon popup. I had already read and downloaded the software from that link. I have downloaded all the most recent drivers for this motherboard. Now type ipconfig /renew. I ran chkdsk in the very beginning but not lately. I wasn't given a recovery disc or anything upon purchasing my computer, which honestly sucks, if that's what you mean. Nothing happens when i plug it in/out. Went and installed the up to date drivers for the board(EVGA) from their site. Make sure all the other services it requires are started.

the IP Address changes to 0.0.0.0 Now type ipconfig /flushdns and press enter. The upgrade automatically checked the box in my connections to use a proxy server!

My computer came with XP Home on it, and that's the only OS it has ever had. As far as IRQ info, it says "IRQ's 0,1,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,12,14 taken, IRQ's 2,3,11,13 free." What the heck is an IRQ, and what has that got to do with my problem?
